1.1 Aveo Healthcare, and its agents, are bound by the National Privacy Principles, which requires that organisations who hold Personal Information about people handle that information responsibly. The National Privacy Principles is effective from 21 December 2001.

1.4 In respect of information regarding Prospective Residents, FKP Real Estate Pty Ltd, an entity that acts for Aveo Healthcare in the marketing of the Aveo Healthcare retirement villages, will have access to the information collected. In respect of that information, FKP Real Estate Pty Ltd, as an agent of Aveo Healthcare, is bound by the rules contained in this Privacy Statement.

2. INFORMATION HELD
2.1 We may hold the following Personal Information
Prospective Residents:
(a) Information of a personal nature relating to your initial enquiry, as completed by you.
Investor Relations Users:
(b) Personal contact details, as completed by you.
All Users
(c) Tracking information, collected in aggregate, including which areas of the website you visit.
(d) Any messages you submit.
The Aveo Healthcare website contains links to websites operated by third parties ("Third Party Websites"). Third Party Websites should contain their own privacy statements and those third parties are responsible for informing you about their own privacy practices.
3. PURPOSE OF INFORMATION HELD
3.1 We may hold Personal Information for the following purposes:
Prospective residents
(a) To enable us to provide you with assistance on the appropriate form of accommodation for you.
(b) To contact you if requested or to provide you with Aveo Healthcare marketing information.
Investor Relations Users
(c) To enable us to contact you.
4. COLLECTION
We may collect ‘Personal Information’ provided by you and any notes we make in respect of that information.
For Investor Relations users, when registering to receive Email Alerts, you are required to input some personal information so that the alerts can be delivered to you. You are also required to nominate which Alerts you want to receive and the format in which you want to receive them. You can change your personal details and Email Alert preferences at any time by clicking on the Email Alerts link, logging in using your username and password and then altering your details as required.
5. STORAGE
5.1 We may store Personal Information about you in any of the following ways:
(a) Electronically on our computer databases
(b) Hard copy documents kept securely within the premises

7.3 You do not need to provide a reason for requesting access.
7.4 We will provide a reasonable range of choices of how access will be available depending on your particular needs.
7.5 We may choose to charge for the service of providing access. What is charged will be reasonable and consistent with fees imposed by the Commonwealth for access to documentation under the Freedom of Information Act 1982.
7.6 We will not charge a fee for lodging a request for access.
7.7 If you believe the Personal Information held about you is inaccurate incomplete or not up to date, you may request amendment. If we do not agree we will note your disagreement.
7.8 In terms of the Privacy Act 1988, we will provide this information within 14 to 30 days.
8. GRIEVANCE PROCEDURE
8.1 If you wish to make a complaint about our management of your personal information, we ask that you do so in accordance with our Grievance Policy available from the Company’s Privacy Officer.
